Please read this with care. By placing an order you are agreeing to the terms and conditions that appear below.
These terms and conditions were most recently updated on 12th May 2018 and apply to all sales and purchases. Artistic ReTreats reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any dispute which may arise between them. This web site is operated by Artistic ReTreats whose registered address is 30 Frog Lane, Upper Boddington, Daventry, Northants, NN11 6DJ.
How to Order
Orders & workshop bookings can be placed online on our website or alternatively by phone, email, post or visiting our studio. Visits to the studio are on an ‘appointment only’ basis.
If ordering via the website, postage costs will be automatically calculated for art supplies, or you may opt to pick up in person by appointment.
If ordering by phone, email or post, we will send you a Paypal invoice to enable payment, which will included manually calculated postal costs. We also accept cheques & bank transfer as a form of payment – please let us know if you wish to pay by this method.
We do not offer credit terms.
All orders must be paid in full before goods will be dispatched.
In the event of ‘Collect in Person’ orders & workshop bookings, we may exercise a ‘Pay on collection/attendance’ policy at our discretion. Please let us know if you wish to use this option.
Payments via the website are serviced by Paypal.
Card payments made at the studio are serviced by IZettle.
We also accept cash, cheque & bank transfer.
Goods remain the property of Artistic ReTreats until invoice is settled in full.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours after order agreement, but please note that we are in based in a rural location & occasionally dispatch may take a little longer. We will notify you via email of any undue delay in dispatch. Delivery within the mainland UK is by Royal Mail or Parcelforce 48, dependent on size & weight of order.
Should you fail to be present for your delivery we are entitled to charge you for the cost of delivery and re-delivery.
Carriage is charged according to weight.
For orders outside of the UK, Scottish Highlands,Islands and Northern Ireland carriage will be charged at cost.
Customs charges may be payable locally on orders sent outside of the UK.
We will not be deemed to be in breach of contract or of these terms and conditions as a result of any delay in our performance or failure to perform our obligations if that delay or failure to perform is due to any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, fire, flood and other acts of God, strikes, riot, accident, disruption to energy supplies, civil commotion, acts of terrorism or war, breakdown of equipment, road traffic problems.
Damaged or Missing Goods and Returns
In the event of Artistic ReTreats supplying your order incorrectly, please contact us immediately using any of the contact methods listed on the Artistic ReTreats website www.artisticretreats.co.uk.
Damaged or missing goods must be reported to us within 72 hours of receipt.
Any faulty item will be replaced, or refunded (at our discretion).
Goods returned for any other reason will be subject to a 20% handling fee.
No goods may be returned without prior consent.
You have the right to cancel any contract that you have entered into with us for up to 14 days from receipt of your goods, all items can be returned in an unopened, unused condition, at your cost within this period. subject to our handling fee.

Our maximum liability arising out of any order for the supply of goods to you will be limited to the price of the goods contained in that order.
We endeavour to have the items you want available for delivery as soon as you order them. If an item is out of stock, we will contact you with an estimated ‘back in stock’ date, or offer you an alternative. Whilst we endeavour to verify the accuracy of any information we place on this website, we advise you to check the label or product packaging, prior to use.
The prices quoted are correct at time of display on the Artistic ReTreats website. Artistic ReTreats reserves the right to change prices at any time. In the event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Artistic ReTreats reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price. Artistic ReTreats reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Artistic ReTreats shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Artistic ReTreats will make every effort to comply to all health & safety requirements when running workshops. However, due to the nature of the workshops, Artistic ReTreats can not be held responsible to damage from art supplies to persons, personal clothing or belongings. Protective aprons & gloves will be supplied, but customers are advised at time of booking to wear old clothes, remove jewellery & tie back long hair.
Customers are responsible for their own transport & food unless stated as being included as part of the course.
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Artistic ReTreats without notice at any time, for any reason.
Artistic ReTreats may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to Artistic ReTreats.
